About Us

With the mission of raising the standards of Turkish insurance sector,our company started out under the name of Finans Sigorta on May 6th, 2002.Since then the sale of Finansbank shares to National Bank of Greece (NBG) in 2006, the company adopted the name of its founding group and continuing its operations under the name of Fiba Sigorta A.Ş.on november 1st , 2007.

Regarding the transfer of the shares of fiba insurance, the contract was signed with Sompo Japan which is the Japanese Insurance industry's oldest and leading company ,on June 15th , 2010. After the completion of legal proceedings, Fiba insurance shares has been transferred to Sompo Japan Insurance Inc. on november 2nd , 2010.

In case , Fiba insurance title has been changed as Sompo Japan Sigorta A.Ş. on february 28th,2011.Since then our company is proceed on its way with the power of Sompo Japan which is the world's 4th leading companies in the insurance market.
